About Western Mining

Western Mining is a premium garment production house based in Changzhou, China, operating at the center of a renowned mid- to high-end manufacturing region. We work closely with established factories known for their focus on quality and international production standards. While we do not directly own the factory, we manage and supervise each stage of the production process and maintain our own office and showroom on site to ensure full control and smooth communication.
Located in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, we collaborate with experienced partners recognised for their commitment to craftsmanship. This is an advantage that sets us apart from many operations in China. Our capabilities span the complete vertical supply chain, from fabric weaving to finished garments, allowing us to deliver consistency, flexibility, and efficiency.
Our core specialisations include sweats and sportswear, outerwear, and denim, though we are always open to exploring creative, category-breaking projects. Our in-house team serves as the direct point of contact, managing the day-to-day production process with precision.
How We Work: Our Production Process
Our process begins with an introductory meeting, where we take time to understand the customer’s challenges, the styles you want to develop, expected quantities, timelines, target pricing, and your long-term goals. This conversation allows us to assess whether we are the right production partner and how we can best support your needs.
Once both sides choose to move forward, onboarding starts and all required documentation is shared. With the foundation set, we begin the sampling stage. After receiving the customer’s tech packs, measurements, and artworks, our team develops the first Proto sample(s), keeping communication clear and structured throughout. When the Proto is ready, it will be shipped to the customer for review, and their feedback guides the next steps.
Following approval, we align on planning. This includes; finalising timelines, quantities, and production expectations. The customer then places a purchase order, confirming the start of the production cycle. When needed, salesman samples are created for your sales season, followed by a pre-production sample that locks in all details before bulk production begins.
Bulk production moves forward only after samples are fully approved. Quality control is carried out at an independent Japanese inspection center to ensure that the final product meets the agreed standards. Before shipment, a shipment sample is sent for final confirmation. Once approved, the full order is dispatched.
After delivery, we follow up to ensure everything meets expectations and to discuss how future collaborations can be improved. This continuous dialogue helps us build long-term, reliable partnerships with every customer.
